South Yorkshire Tree Services will be carrying out planned work at Tickhill Castle over the late autumn and winter period 2025-2026, chiefly on the external bank of the moat, where there is concern for the foundations of the external wall beside the road between the Gatehouse and Lindrick corner and about the self-sets (chiefly sycamore) on the northern side near the Castle Close junction. Larger established trees should be undisturbed, although overhanging trees on the castle side of the moat would be trimmed and any dead trees felled.
