Can someone please answer a couple of questions about the Tickhill area. Where was the waterfall on the Paper Mill Steam and on the O/S map of Tickhill it shows a Cave near the Friary is it still there? Many thanks Andrew.

Friars Falls - a bit of a mystery - looking at the change in levels, wonder if it predates the installation of the concrete sill structure at the Mill Dam There is a small undramatic cave at the rear of the Friary garden which may have extended under the lane and fields off Worksop Rd. Now bricked up. Fable, never substantiated, that there was a passage between the Friary and Tickhill Castle.
