Building Condition Surveys 2025

The Parish Room Trustees have recently commissioned a Building Condition Survey, which may well interest History Society Members and others.  Needless to say costs are involved which somehow the Parish Room will have to find, but that’s another story.

Coincidentally, the Buttercross itself will undergo a similar survey with a similar glossy document being produced. The money associated with that restoration may be more eye watering and pressing. The Structure will be 250 years old in 2027. It would be good to give it a birthday to remember, but I fear its going to take more than Botox.
