This delightful Living Memory came to us via our website when one night Eric Sorensen was browsing the internet and came across our site. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

He wrote

"In an idle moment I was astonished to find on my computer a wealth of information on, what used to be, the tiny town of Tickhill.
I  spent four nostalgic months in Tickhill in my far off army days during World War II.
I thought that you, and the Tickhill Historical Society, might be interested in hearing of my reminiscences."

He has now sent us some photographs to give extra life to the reminiscences.
